Our current project is to use the leftover fabric from the Solar Circle Raffle Quilt to make small quilts that Solar Circle can sell or auction as an additional fundraiser. Solar Circle will be selling items at the Amazwi Contemporary Art Gallery in Saugatuck in May so we are trying to get several small quilts completed in time to be included in their fundraiser.

Carol Sc also created this small quilt top. What a great idea and a great effect.
This is my contribution. I just added fabric on either end and hand quilted the top. I think it would make a nice table runner. I just need to add the binding.
Linda already finished this piece. She added some of her own African fabric scraps to make a very arty quilt.
Linda is making a second quilt. This one features the African fabric and the fabric description from the selvage edge.
Eileen brought some of her hand made purses to "show and tell". This one is made from two place mats. Way cool!!

Linda had a completed quilt for show and tell. Very bright, way hot!!!My Aunt Cathy M. is a quilter and she is having surgery tomorrow so I am sending hopes and prayers her way.
