Last night was our monthly Scrap Fever meeting. We all made Friendship Star blocks for this quilt for Claire V. who has been very ill. John quilted it and we all took turns sewing the binding on. To our amazement, Claire came to the meeting and so we got to present her with this special quilt with healing power.
Another two rows of stars are on the back too.

Jean showed her quilt from our last project with batik strips.
Bonnie B. who started Scrap Fever years ago attend the meeting after a long absence. She is donating this bright orange scrap quilt for a new Habitat for Humanity Lansing homeowner. Quilters are so generous. Thank you Bonnie!!!!!

This is my partially completed top for my office wall hanging. I still need to add some borders.
Claire made this awesome piece. The diamonds are really two half square triangles.
This one is breathtaking. The picture does not do the colors justice.
The reds are really orangey pink and they glow.
Carolyn B. used her batik strips to make this beauty.
Carolyn has become a frequent shopper of men's cotton shirts at the thrift stores. She says she now has a frequent shopper card at Salvation Army. This quilt top was made entirely of used men's shirts.
Looks like an antique. (Notice that John brought a box of Reese's for our treat.)
John showed his latest Diamonds in the Rough.
And his completed Edita Sitar quilt that is now machine quilted and bound.
Ruby P. made this gem. She added purple to spark the blues.
Ruby's beautiful Pat Campbell applique piece will be a silent auction quilt for the LAP quilt show.
She also made this cute one with a kitty too.
Carole D. made this quilt with her batik strips. Wow!!
Carole D. also has a big start on our latest Scrap Fever project using 6.5 inch autumn colored squares. She set her blocks a little differently than the pattern but it looks super wonderful.

Cindy, it's good to see the great Show and Tell in the Scrap Fever group. I was in the group originally when we met at Claire's and really enjoyed but the day was changed some time ago and I was already committed for that date. Love what everyone is doing. Thanks. Daisy

Wow! I don't remember Eleanor having such green eyes --- nice that she had such caring treatment in her last years. We can only hope for the same for us!
