Habitat Meeting and Dinner

Tonight was the monthly meeting for the Habitat Nominating committee. We had serious and thoughtful discussion about our responsibilities to make sure the members who serve are qualified and have the best interest of Habitat at heart. As a treat, I brought the house blocks that are partially pieced together for the Habitat Lansing board room wall hanging. Julie and Denise approved and can't wait to have it finished and hung on the wall in the board room. I will have to spend some time this weekend getting the top closer to completion. Look for pictures in a future blog post.
After our Habitat meeting, my friend Glenn, another board/committee member, and I had dinner at Outback Steakhouse. I have been craving a good steak dinner and it was delicious. The steak was done just perfectly and the conversation was equally entertaining and enjoyable. Our waitress was very cute and obviously nervous. Glenn is in the process of buying a new car and just needs to make the final decision. I can't wait to get a ride in the new car.
And now for your entertainment.........
"Caribou Barbie" announcing the engagement of her daughter.......so that's why they call it a shot gun wedding. I wonder if she is a better shot than Dick Cheney.
I did find out that this is a doctored photo. Apparently a different head was pasted on this body. Word has it that this body is a size or two larger than Sarah's, another reason to dislike her.
Please feel free to leave a comment with your suggested caption to the above picture.

A Vice-Pres who likes guns--what could go wrong?

Hysterical and scary at the same time. What an idiotic picture to have available. Her judgement in allowing this is telling.
