No pictures for this post but I just have to say it was so wonderful to see my friend Phyllis. She is visiting from California. She is a fellow quilter and used to live down the street from me but ran off with her long lost "boyfriend" now husband a few years ago and now we only get to see her occasionally. Tonight Daisy invited us all over for a potluck and visit with Phyllis and her hubby Tim. They had an adventurous trip from California to Michigan in their new fifth wheel. I wished her a slow uneventful trip on the way back. They had two tires blow out and then it damaged the entire electrical system! And they weren't too far into the trip when that happened. Anyway, we are so glad they continued on so we could have a good visit.
Phyllis brought lots of show and tell quilts including tops she made at Asilomar workshops in California.
So good to see you Phyllis!!! We all miss you. Have a safe trip home.

Well said, Cindy. I'm glad that so many of Phyllis' friends came last night to enjoy an evening with Phyllis and Tim. It was good to see Phyllis so happy. Tim, too. She obviously needed no transition from Lansing to CA quilting as she has been very productive. Daisy
