Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day so two of my brothers, Jim (with his four boys) and Mike, and I went to my Mom's for dinner and to spend the day with her. We had a very good dinner with pork loin, mashed potatoes, asparagus, green beans, salad and fruit. The three older grandsons had their favorite fish sticks. Grandma Dee made molasses cookies, chocolate chip cookies and brownies. All very yummy.
It rained all day so we stayed indoors and watched the movie "Night at the Museum" starring Ben Stiller. Very funny as usual with Ben Stiller. We also viewed my blog. Carl is such a good reader that he was able to read the blog to me. He is excellent at sounding out words especially long words and he is only in the first grade. Ya! Carl!!!
Grandma Dee had a great time with four of her eight grandchildren and three of her children today.
Grandma Dee and Ben.

Jim lifts Ben instead of weights.

Ben, Uncle Mike and John. John likes to clown around.

Sam playing with an old toy tractor.

Ben, a very happy youngster.

John practices hitting a home run.

Carl smiles big for Aunt Cyndee.

We are sorry we missed Mother's Day at Grandma Dee's house. We are glad to have a place to read about the day.

Terri (Rodney, Jackson and Madeline, too)
