Tonight was busy with packing and getting everything ready for a trip to Ludington for the weekend with my family. Terri and Rodney have a home, not a cottage, up north and the whole family gathers there for the Labor Day weekend. We each share responsibility for meals so my car will be packed with yummy snacks and food for lunches. It is supposed to be 80 degrees this weekend so we will spend one whole day at the beach and the waterfront park. There will be a trip to the House of Flavors and perhaps a meal at a local restaurant. Since 5 nephews and one niece will be there, I have planned some fun activities for the young ones. We might play some board games and card games as the kids are now old enough to understand the rules.
I look forward to the sun and relaxing. We will also be celebrating a special birthday.
